Jeff Schatz - Director of Integrated Sales

Jeff Schatz is the Director of Integrated Sales for Advantage Systems Inc., LLC.  Jeff, a Chicago native, has been in marketing and broadcasting for over 30 years.  Jeff knows the ins and outs of the industry as he’s worn almost every hat in sales, management, and corporate operations.  He relates to Advantage clients in a unique way, and knows what it takes to be successful.  Jeff has completed over 150 programs over the last 12 years generating over $50 million in revenue! 

Most recently, Jeff was Corporate Director of Revenue Development for Digity Companies LLC, where he worked to increase market revenue through a variety of sales initiatives involving on-air branding programs, musical image presentations, customized client CNA’s, and digital solutions.  In 2007, he helped start Gapwest Broadcasting, as corporate VP of Sales.  In 2009 when Gapwest merged into Townsquare Media, Jeff created a division called “Total Marketing Solutions”, which generated over $28 million for the company over the next 6 years, through integrated selling of “On Air, Online, and Digital” platforms.  

Jeff also has expertise in non-traditional revenue sales and corporate training during his time with Citadel Communications.  His new business development programs generated over $2 million annually in new direct revenue.  Jeff also spent eight years at Tribune Denver Radio, successfully leading their sales efforts as Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager and Director of Sales.  His stations consistently outperformed the market with double-digit increases in revenue each year.

While Jeff was the Market Manager for New Wave Broadcasting’s five-station cluster in Honolulu, HI, he met Mike LoConte.  Jeff implemented a very successful Advantage Systems Program for his station group, where he added 50 new clients and over $500,000 in new revenue.  He was extremely excited and believed in the program so much that he later decided to join the Advantage Systems team in September of 2003, and became the 2nd highest revenue producer for the company in only his 2nd year. 

After many years of achieving great success in developing traditional, non-traditional, and integrated sales revenue, Jeff’s goal is to apply his skills and experience to accomplish the same results for Advantage Systems clients across the North America.
