Dan Hudson is a native New Yorker, Dan graduated from St. John’s University – Bachelor Science/Communications – and has 30+ years in radio/media sales and sales management.
Dan began his media career right out of St. John’s, joining General Cinema’s WGCL-FM in Cleveland, Ohio as an account executive. After becoming G-98’s top biller he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager and was recruited by Eastman Radio – the industry’s largest radio-exclusive national rep firm – to join their sales staff in New York City.
Eastman was home for the next decade, first as an Account Executive in NYC then VP/Manager - Mid-Atlantic out of Philadelphia before heading back to Manhattan as Vice President of Sports Marketing. Dan returned to the station-side with Southern Star’s Melbourne, Florida cluster – WLRQ, WMMB, WBVD, WHKR – as DOS before joining Gem Broadcasting’s legendary ‘A1A (WAOA-FM/AM) as General Sales Manager where billing records were set that have yet to be duplicated. Immediately prior to joining Advantage Systems Dan spent seven years with another revenue generation company as a Senior Account Director running program initiatives in and on all media platforms. Dan’s applied experience in formulating long-term strategic sales/marketing programs meshes seamlessly with Advantage Systems’ client and partner oriented structure providing hands-on training for your sales staff, expansion of your client base and measurable, sustainable revenue growth.
